60,000 Mile Maintenance
My wife's 2011 TL is approaching 60k on the clock. I have scanned over the Owners Manual and could not find any maintenance that should be performed at 60k. I'm looking for help here. We are planning on a long trip soon, and really don't want to get caught on the road needing scheduled maintenance.

Shouldn't really have to worry about anything major done ...at 60k all I did was oil and filter change alignment check and that was it ....it all depends on if you have done and kept up with all the maintaince in a time frame where you were required and how the car is driven.... you do not need to change the spark plugs until 100k it's a honda but again it all depends on how the car is treated and driven you said it's your wife's car so it should be good .. at 55k what I did was
1. Brake fluid change
2. Rear brake pads change.
3. Transfer case fluid flush transmission fluid and replaced.
So it all depends on how you take of the car and the driving methods ..just bring it in they'll let you know ....the easiest way to avoid a high bill at a service location is to stay on top of maintaince service and bring a coupon from time to time lol facts

i just did my 60k service, it called for B123, i skipped 2 cause i can do those really quick. (cabin and engine filter changes)
Had the dealer do the oil (free) and ATF plus transfer case replacement.

The "3" service for the ATF change.
I would religiously change it every 30k cause I don't want to have any issues. Also change out the transfer case fluid as well.

Surprised no none mentioned rear differential fluid. Clearly stated in the maintenance schedule for 60k.
I agree timing belt at 60k is absurd, unless you've been hauling a loaded trailer for the past 60k miles. My 2008 MDX is pushing 120k on the original belt. I wouldn't recommend it, but it is what it is. I have all the parts. Just gotta dedicate a weekend to knock it out.
Transmission and transaxle aren't recommended until 120k, but I personally won't be waiting that long, at least not on the trans fluid. Every 30k sounds good to me.

My friend has a Camry V6.
Asked me if he should change his plugs.
I asked him how long they had been in the car.
Ten years he replied.
True story.
(I said yes.)
