While having my car serviced, I inquired about cost of replacing my dirty, ripped floor mats. The parts guy came back and said they were on sale for $175, marked down from nearly $400!!!! Needless to say, I passed. Why on earth are these so expensive?!?!

well your first mistake was asking the dealer for anything..

ebay is your friend man.. its like 80 bucks on ebay. and 100 bucks for all weather rubber ones..

You can always skip the OEM mats and get some Weathertech floor liners. The fit is perfect and protect the carpet.

I irrationally splurged on OEM all-weather mats from the dealership... and it was just $140. $175 for cloth mats is criminal...

I disagree with people here. The rubber mats arent poor quality. Maybe weathertech is more heavy duty but no way that the regular oem mats rip through just but having your feet on them.

The trunk tray on the other hand is so flimsy. And if you have the SHAWD you have to cut a peice of it off because of the hump in the back of the trunk

The guy I bought my 4G from bought some cheap OEM 3G rubber mats second-hand, and they are almost a perfect fit.

Dunno what he paid for them, but if you want OEM, 3G mats may also be an option.
