4G/FWD/TL vs. Infinity G37

Just rented the G37 in Miami; nice ride; one feature I like is the electric steering wheel adjustment. When you turn off the ignition, it raises the wheel, & pushes the seat back; nifty! I prefer the steering in my '09TL, especially during parking maneuvers; turning radius seems shorter. The ELS kills the G37, & the Nav. in the TL, as well. Seems like the G37 interior is cheap; too much plastic, not enough accents. seats in the G37 are ok, but not like the Tech/TL. Brakes about equal; power, ditto. Transmission in the G was spotty during dead stop take-off. Overall interior in the TL/Tech, is superior.
Glad I made the right choice!

Yeah, the G37 is faster in a straight line, no question. Comparing FWD TL to RWD G37, the G37 would probably have higher exit speeds on turns as well.
I agree about the G37's interior being cheap, though. The steering wheel and door trim are especially bad. The TL w/Tech definitely has the best stereo in this price range as well.

Don't misunderstand, I think the TL buries the G car for a lot of reasons. It's just that speed is not one of them!

As I stated, the tranny on the G was weird; maybe needed repair; anyway, my TL is more than sufficient, power-wise. I'm not looking to break speed records; if I were, i'd drive my brother's Red/F430!

Furthermore I have to agree with all that the G's interiro is cheap and I have heard numerous rumors about the & speed tranny having issues. That is what happens when you out source products.

I previously owned 07 G35x when it first came out. At that time it's far better than TL 3G. I didn't own G37 or 4G TL AWD (but 4G TL FWD). However, I can tell you a couple things I like/dislike about them.
TL nav screen is bigger.
But G35/G37 has 3-D map which is very cool (I like that a lot).
TL does let you do whatever you want with your nav when in drive. G limits a lot of function. I hate that.
TL doesn't remember last screen, it always start with map. G does.
Audio system in TL is far better than Bose in G.
TL supports DVD-A which is a big plus for me. It sounds amazing.
G nav can play movie when in park only, but you can mod to let it does more.
G doesn't have separate fog light as TL does. But many members from G forums consider that as a plus since they won't have to replace it when it broke due to stone chip. I want fog light regardless of what.
I like the braking in G more than TL.
TPMS in TL is more useful since it shows the number for all 4 tires. G doesn't. Just give low pressure icon and you have to test out which one is low.
I kinda like the blue halo on the dash in G and the clock. Look decent. Unlike many here saying the interior of G looks cheap. I don't think so. But I like the interior of the my TL more.
G can show the history of mileage in bar charts (the last 6 reset).
That's all I can remember or care.
For the size I don't want to comment since you can get it from website and it's subjective. Some like it small, some like it big. Same for driving and handling. You have to test drive to see which one is better. But nobody complains about a couple more horse power.

I agree that the interior of the G37 is crap compared to the TL tech.
When it comes to power, speed and acceleration, the two should not
even be compared. You can test drive the G37 vs. TL or the AWD versions
of both. You would immediately know that there is no comparison.
The only place the TL (AWD) could have an advantage is on a
winding mountain road.

No stems, no seeds that you don't need:
Acapulco gold is....BAD ASS WEED.
It might be a little faster but not that much to act like this guy is out of his mind.
