2013 AWD Tech prices paid

Anyone recently bought 2013 AWD TECH in south New Jersey? Truecar shows that you can get it for around 39k. Is this a good price?

MSRP is 43100, truecar shows people buying it for 39k as bellow average. 37k might not work.
I am still torn appart and not sure if I should go with infinity g37x... Both cars fully loaded at same price around 40k.

From what I can tell from my own observation:
- TL has more luxury ride than G37
- TL has more space

But G37 wins for those who are looking for more sporty ride.

I wouldn't pay more than 38.3K. Ask the dealer to take the prep charges off.

so you think 5K off MSRP is realistic, its good to push for it and walk away.. maybe they call you next day.

you have nothing to loose. Make the offer, and see if they're willing to work w/ you.

You should be able to get it for 38K roughly.

Use the interne/phone. You're in a highly populated area. Get quotes from all Acura dealers within 100 miles or so. Tell them you want their best OTD price without TTL (that way you can be sure they are apples to apples comparisons). Then use the best price you can find to start your negotiations. If you have a preferred dealer, give them the last chance to get your business by using the prices you've gathered.

Try elite acura in maple shade New Jersey they will beat anybody's price guarantee.

Yeah, elite acura is good, usually all dealers in the area have similar prices if you push them... +- $500... Better buying local if price is very close

if you throw a set of H&R springs onto your TL, it will feel way sportier than it already feels. add a cat back exhaust or jpipe and gain a few hp and better sound...

personally... I hate the infinitis ... they all sound the same.. and look like fish.. teh styling is weird... i'd much prefer the Acura.. but everyone likes something different..a nd it's all subjective.

when the 4G first came out, I hated it and thought it was soooo ugly. fast forward several years... I think it's a sweet looking car, especially with the optional underbody spoiler kit...

which one do you like better from behidn teh wheel? do you need the bigger back seats of the TL? i have three kids.. a G is way too small for me.. the TL is more similar to an M or 5 series in size...

I'd imagine at this time they are trying to get rid of 2012, 3-4K could be a difference for a model year alone even if there are no choices.

In December of 2012 I paid $41,795 for a '13 SH-AWD Advance. This of course excluded dealer installed options but did include tint all around and destination charges etc. Probably not the best price out there but in Dallas the SH-AWD's are hard to find and the dealer I purchased from had one on order that would arrive about three weeks from when I signed.

I believe the '12 and the '13 model years are identical cars.

no problem, you are technically right, I just did not care to name it properly. We are keeping RDX, its a great car, love the turbo.
btw, I test drove both cars, G37x is definitely faster and better road feel.. it however has many minuses:
- noisy inside from the road noise (not the engine growl but simply road noise)
- Interior feels cheaper, though its subjective, and looks of it are a bit outdated, acura is more futuristic.
- Backseat has no room, and I got two kids..
- Acura is running 0.9% financing, infinity is not.

leaning towards acura ...

Not really, it's equivalent to the TL AWD. Mix of city/highway driving at about 22. Highway driving, not driving insanely, 28+.

TL AWD is all over the map as is the G.

Stop and go traffic as one would experience in Manhattan/Brooklyn will kill the gas mileage on the TL and G all the same.

You're last two points also factored in to my decision to go with the TL.
