It's going to sell well. The aggressive edge has been tamed and the majority of people will take safe over wild...am I happy, sad...nope It's growing on me. I still like mine and will wait for the 5G to debut.

am i mistaken or are the ventilated seats for the TL/MDX/ZDX only sucking air, and only for the seat back.. not the bottom cushion?

and the RL blows air from both the seat bottom and back? (I know the RL's system is different from the other 3)

Sure, it's on the website. Some dealerships already have a small inventory.

It's just been added to the website .. late today. I looked 8 hours ago (last night in Russia time) and it wasn't available to build. The '12 still shoed as "future".... so cool!

The A-spec kit is such a let down. It just sticks on to the sides of the car.

Are you sure the side pieces aren't snapped in, in place of the OEM pieces? How do you know this since the car just arrived? Just curious.

The 3G Aspec kit sticks the car with double sided tape in several places.

How can you tell by just a graphic on a website? Doing the same to the 09-11, it looked like that too. IMO, you can't tell by that site.

I seriously doubt they'd be that cheesy... I would be surprised if they went tape-on.

how can you not tell. It only effects the corners, its very noticeable on the rear.

On the 09-11 they had a piece the went across the whole bumper.

Ummm, no.. the rear kit is not all the way across on 09-11. I have see the DIY videos on here about the aero kits instalations.. have you? Please do then come back and continue this silly discussion.

I am not trying to be a dick just can't see how you are so sure it's a paste on kit! I find that hard to believe which is why I am arguing.

It feels like the air is being sucked from the bottom cushion.

I'm scheduled to see my dealer first thing Saturday AM and we'll see what happens. Already e-mails 2 backup dealers as well. We're trying to do a 2 car deal, gf wants to trade her RDX for an 11 TSX. While I like my M37S and still prefer its styling I truly miss my Acuras, miss the ride, the stability and the electronics!

Wow, please keep us posted on the progress.

I fired one dealer already because they haven't responded to my email queries. I am guessing it is because I won't be buying until the end of the month but I still had questions that they didn't bother to respond to.. so they are fired. I will send an email to the sales manager to let them know.

The other dealership's salesguy told me that they are taking deposits on the '12 and have very few on the lot. I am not happy to hear about deposits but I will see how it plays out when I get home.

I just went on the website to build the SH-AWD and my 2010 (with all of the exterior accessories) definitely looks better. Not a fan of the mid cycle build. They took away the agressiveness.

If you haven't already, you may want to take a look at the car in person. It really does look good in the flesh.

It is me, or is the rear-spoiler missing from the SH-AWD / Advance Package?

I think it's still there. The rear pic on the build is just jacked.

Yeah I hate this process. I am eager to see the reposnse sI get, first guy already wants to see the trade without givieng me any info. Second guy sends me questiosn that are clearly answered in my original request? He asks "what features are important to you?" DUH I asked for a SH-AWD Advance, so take the hint.

Yes it does. Maybe their trying to give it a European(Italian) flair? Wonder if the paint code(NH603P) stayed the same? I would think so.

I try not to email dealers until I'm ready to do a deal that day.

Nothing says serious as if you match this price I'll be down before 5 to sign papers.

I'm also intrigued that you're trading in your M as the G is the other car on my short shopping list, since I'm leaning Acura, this adds a little more weight to my already weighted decision.

Hmmm...must be a Euro thing. Heading by the dealership in about and hour or so, curious to see what this guy is talking about and I may as well take the AWD for a run.

Arrow On the fence...but at what cost

I have owned 2 prior generation TLs. First the 1999 and most recently a 2004. I have over 90K miles on my 2004. This is generally when I look for a new car. I have 2 children who will require a car this summer. One will inherit my 2004 TL. Ideally, I would like to purchase a new TL by June. The decision is complicated by a number of factors. First, the mid model correction this year and the probable disruption in supply lines due to the earthquake mean that deals on the 2012 and even remaining 2011 may be difficult until the fall. I could be wrong on this but it complicates my decision. One of the huge advantages in the TL is the value it represents with a modest reduction off sticker. At full MSRP, other options such as the Infiniti G37, Lexus GS, Audi A4 etc. start looking more attractive. I am hoping I can get 2K off the 2012 sticker, but without some discount, it will make it hard decision. I am going to watching the prices paid for the new model very carefully over the coming weeks. I really want the new TL, but as always this will be a supply/demand/value issue.

It's been up for a few days, I'm sure there will be tweaks etc as it goes along, the rear mud gards show up in the middle of the wheel for me.

I share this sentiment as well.

It seems most people want "safe," and if "safe" translates into more sales, Acura will be happy.

Just a hunch, I think the 09-11 TL will be ahead of its time, obnoxious grill and all.
