I have a private seller selling a certified 2012 TL/advance pkg with 160k km for average market value. The exterior is in good shape/no accidents and timing belt/water pump were replaced as preventative maintenance at 145k km. However, I'm a little concerned about the interior since I feel like the leather might be fading away and doesn't appear to be in decent shape, although that might just be my perspective. Also I read so many horror stories about oil consumption. The seller is not aware of any oil consumption but I doubt that because they do their maintenance at a private mechanic shop. Any reason to steer clear of this deal?
interior looks great!!!! it could use a little love with a leather cleaner and conditioner and a little love for the carpets, but its super great and nothing to be concerned about..

I would say the leather is in average condition. Especially since its likely they don't condition it. You could probably improve it quite a bit with some conditioner.
A few things you can do regarding oil consumption, check the tail pipes for black soot buildup, check the oil level on the dip stick, inquire when the last oil change was and look at the color/smell of the oil.
Ask if they did a oil consumption test from dealer. Acura Canada should have send it to owner to check it. This was done for me last year (early 2019).
