Happy New Year good people. Newbie here. I just purchased a 2012 GLM Tech AWD, with 49,212 on the OD. Carfax one owner, no accidents or damage reported. Original owner serviced it at the stealership EVERY 3 mo, or 3-4k miles. The question is: Did I over or under pay? Not that it matters much, I'm just wondering. Asking price, $27,990. Purchased it for $26 plus processing and TTT.

Personally......i think that was a bit too much. That's alot of Miles for a 2012.

I initially thought it was a lot of miles for a '12. However, seeing how the original guy took care of it, and seeing where he was driving to and from, I thought it wasn't that bad.

If you feel it was a good deal then you are the only one that needs to be happy. But new 2013 AWD Advance goes for $42K around here and that comes with factory warranty. With your mileage you only have a short run on the power train warranty. But if the car did not give the original owner any issues as evidenced by service records then the great Honda build quality will likely give you years of trouble free service. Good luck.

Yes, the original owner had it on a lease. I know of the guy. He was a traveling minister in the MVA area.

Yeah, I didn't really want a new to me car with that many miles, but the selling price was thousands less than book price and it was a lease that well maintained. I see '09 models selling for what I paid or more, with the same or higher miles. Lower miles doesn't always mean better maintained. I was a little apprehensive at first, but eff it, deal is done. I'm satisfied.
