Is there a diffrence in between the 2 models? (body wise)

foglight bezels in the front, and exhaust tips in the rear... (actually on the '12 the exhaust tips may be the same for both)

for the 2012.. i believe they all look the same, fwd and awd if im not mistaken.

dont think you can tell a fwd from a awd just by the body style.. maybe the wheels

the SHAWD badge would be an indicator.

There are structural differences to make room for the propeller shaft and rear differential on the SH-AWD. They can't be seen unless you're under the car.

Sh-awd badge
Sh-awd has 18" wheels or larger

the trunks are different so i would assume there is some difference in the floor panels as well to make space for the rear diff

i think the sole purpose of the thread was to see if there were any quick visual differences.

fwd can come with 18 inch wheels as well wreck.. i know mine came with 18's

I have a 12 FWD and I got a fin =D ... i did notice a mark on my dash stating SHAWD but it doesnt light up i guess mine is broken lol

I think the fin is on all models (XM antenna).

it's funny you mentioned the SH-AWD indicator on the dash, because mine doesn't light up, and i had a 09 TL with SH-AWD and that also didn't light up.

i've been wondering if it is suppose to light up at all.

otherwise, why doesn't the engine light ignite when my car is turned on?

Does FWD models have brake cooling ducts in the grill like AWD? I am not 100% sure for 12-14 models.

On the 2012-2014 models you can tell by looking at the exhaust. The FWD has a crossover pipe close to the rear and the AWD has dual exhaust so it has separate pipes when you look from the rear.
Its visible while driving behind one.

like i said, you cant tell on the 2012+ just by looking at it. body style is all the same, exhaust tips are also the same
