Talking 2010 TSX to 2013 TL SH-AWD

Hey, what's up all! I've been on the forums for a while now, i'm just the guy who reads and doesn't post much... lol

Just traded my 2010 TSX 6spd for a 2013 TL SH-AWD Tech 6spd. I loved the TSX, but i always felt i needed more hp, more torque, more car! So i finally pulled the trigger and made that happen. What a difference! The TL is freaking awesome in all aspects except for the fuel consumption, that's definitely something i need to get used to...

Picked the car up on Saturday, got tints same day and waiting for them to dry before i put in the weathertech rain guards. Car is pure sex lol, i'll take a few pics once it stop raining here.

Congrats! You have a sweet car! Too bad you don't live close, I have some goodies left over from my TL (trunk liner, all weather mats and a roof spoiler) that needs a home!

What color did you get?

Dang, i'm actually looking to buy all those things... haha

I opted for the White on Black (well actually that was the only color combo available in the 6spd lol)

TotheMAx.....Congrats on your TL! I did a similar switch in 2011 when I traded my 2009 TSX for the 2012 TL and what a great upgrade indeed. I have the similar color except mine is auto but I love the car and glad you do too.

HeartTLs...I am so envious with you guy's meet, it seems to be no passion for Acura where I live. I would love to have a meet&greet but can't seem to spark any interest.

Hey, Thanks! I live in Suffolk County, work in Nassau County, and go to Brooklyn almost every week. Where are the meets?

Took a quick pic in between the thunderstorms..

LoL! The tranny/shifter on this thing is something to get used to. Much more aggressive than on the TSX and much shorter throws.

Idk, my tsx was like a hot knife through butter. This car is like a cold knife through frozen butter lol

Maybe cause i only have 200 miles and it still needs to be broken in...

Hey congrats! I have the same exact 4G LOL. IDK, but I love the tranny and clutch on this. Acura did a great job. Great clutch engagement and not too hard; tranny to me is smooth as silk.

Thanks! It's definitely something I'd miss if we no longer did it; the small group of regulars including myself have grown pretty close, irregulars keep it interesting and occasionally show up. Problem with Canada is its huge, not as densely populated and Acuras cost a whole lot more over there. I've loved my TLs but I'd be hard pressed to buy one for 7 grand more than what I've paid in the past for them. Are all cars considerly more expensive over there?

Bah, unfortunately you're not local to us so it might be difficult for you come, although we have some guys from Queens that come pretty often. I use to go to Queens/Brooklyn meets 2yrs ago but after a while I was one of the few with an Acura and I hooters restaurant closed.

Congrats on your 13'6M/T, I have the same car in a 2012. I think it shifts very smooth.
