2010 Tl Moon Roof Will Not Close

I have a 2010 TL and the moon Moon Roof will not close from the "Tilt" position. It will just go up and down and not close.
Can anyone out there help.

It is going forward and backwards? You can force the arm to do down and it will go down. A bit of lubrication will help if it's already 'open'.

have the same problem once in a while on my 2010 shawdy, learned that if you click the button up top forward a few times it’ll inch itself closed.

wondering if it just needs to be greased/lubed

or if it needs to be electronically reset like how one would do with the roll down windows.
