I suspect it a non-Tech car, the Michelins generally only come on the Tech cars. I'm surprised they ride hard, I found the Bridgestones to be low end soft tires. Dumb question, but what do you have the tires inflated to. I have gotten cars from the dealer with 45psi becsue they forget to adjust the tires as they coem over inflated from factory. Goes to show ride is liek beauty and in the eye of the beholder, I find all non-AWD 4G TL to ride like marshmellows.

It's not really the fault of the tires. It's the suspension.
BUMP ABSORBTION has been my #1 complaint of honda and acura vehicles since i got my first honda back in 2003 (i got a used 96 accord sedan). I felt it was a bit firm as I was used to softer suspension prior to that.
Then I got my 2006 civic, basically the same thing. Any bump you see, you will also feel. There isn't much sound deadening so all the noise intrudes with authority.
Then I got my 2010 TL (SHAWD first, then Base after). The SHAWD is extra "brittle" feeling where there is almost no bump/crater/pothole/bad road you will not feel. It was also pretty noisy for a luxury car, enough so that my GF actually asked why it was so noisy (she drives an Audi A5 which, while more jarring over large bumps,, is much quieter in all other situations except wind noise above 70mph). I blame the larger tires/wheels and stiffer suspension setup.
Then the SHAWD was totaled by some lady making an illegal turn, and I got my base model. This car deadens road noise much better than the SHAWD model but the bump absorbtion is about the same (slightly less firm), you still feel every bump that you see, but it's quieter. Though larger bumps in the SHAWD felt pretty uncomfortable.. with a noisy BOMBOM over each large bump.
So it's not really a "problem" as much as it is a characteristic of ALL honda and acura vehicles. I've never been in an acura that was not sporty feeling, and I'm guessing that is exactly what acura wants.
Another thing i noticed is that the Base TL is actually more firm than my 06 civic! I took the civic out for a spin the other day because it was free and i realized how soft it actually is compared to the Base TL. With the civic, you go over a bump, you feel the bump, done. With the base TL, you go over a bump, you feel the bump and you also feel the firm bounce it does over it. Had no idea the civic had such soft suspension.
