ok well i have my tl for maybe 5 months now and and im not sure why but its already asking me for a second oil change?????how is tha?....its telling me now for a B1 service?...help please

2nd oil change already? My TL has 5113 miles and 8 months old. It hasn't come up with the first oil change reminder yet. I think you need to have a visit to your local dealer.

it means you are driving to hard & aggressive, as well as a lot of city driving.

i had about 6k (3 months) when i was prompted for my first oil change

I'm at 6300 miles and 9 months and have not gotten a notification for any service yet. Oil life is still at 30%.

i reset mine after every oil change at 5k....

did this to my last tl, and still unsure if that affects the rest of the mid schedual...

Correct.

The oil life monitor observes how you drive. it takes in account of revs(if you like to hit vtec), some how it knows about city driving, and I think start ups.

if your commute is all highway, you'll might go 7-10k before an oil change.

I drive city and am fairly aggressive hitting vtec often. about 5k to 6k is when my oil monitor nags at me.

i drive my car regularly........no gunnin at all...so im wondering if i should see a dealer or just do the oil change n thats all
