Emissions warranty is 8yrs/80K miles so it may be covered. Usually the rotten egg smell occurs when the cats get soaked in fuel/oil and are getting hot and burning it off. Since you have an SH-AWD TL I'd imagine you are burning a good amount of oil and the cats may be plugged up. Depending on what state you live in you can get away with the Pre-cat Delete mod which removes them and gives you a good amount of power too.

Try running a cleaner such as seafoam through the vac intake port on the engine intake manifold. That may help clear up some of the buildup.

if you smell it only after driving hard or hard acceleration. it is normal.
also the delear will only replace the cat under warranty if there is a check engine light related to the cat

I had a battery once create that smell. Of course it was easy to tell, Opening the hood, you could see it was boiling. It was a factory semi clear Honda one.
I knew I had I about 10 to 20 mins before it detonated and 30 miles to go. Course the next morning, it had melted into a squished square shape and the car was dead.
