2009 TL w/ Tech package at 61k miles

is there a huge risk in me buying a TL at 61k miles? dealer is selling for $24.5K...

What are some things I should be concerned with at 61k miles?

Thank you!

I wouldn't be scared off by 60k miles as long as the service record is up to date and carfax is clean. A little high for the year but more than likely whoever owned it first had a long commute to work and most the miles are highway

its the price vs mileage that you have to worry about. overpaying for something is never good. just because it has service records doesnt mean you should overpay when you can get the same thing but with less mileage

I'm in the car business... I paid $27k for an 09 SH tech with 22k... you can make that same deal especially from the larger dealers in your area... don't search online because a lot of very nice cars sell before they hit a dealer website or get listed... CL and AT are usually used for old age units...

If you don't put many on per year, I think that deal is fine. I tend to look at cars at my total cost per month over the term I plan to own it. Acuras hold their value well and I bought new as a result, but consider how many miles you drive, etc.

I'm also in the market looking for a clean TL with SH-AWD and found a black/black AWD with 51,000 miles for 26,200 plus taxes and tags and I felt it was too much. I think if op takes the chance and wait until end of the month he can get a better price.

Price is way too high. I traded in a 2009 TL Tech sh-awd with 15,000 miles and the BMW dealership had it on the lot for 28,800. It sold quickly. You shouldn't pay more than 21-22,000.

I paid $24.5k for my 09 w/ Tech and it had 32k miles on it. So it's defnitely not worth that asking price. Make them an offer and see what they'll take for it.

Is it Acura certified? The reason I ask is cause the dealer will invest around 1500 into.
If its a non tech probably paid 18500 + cert.
Dealers are happy to make at least 1k on consumers on used.

Up in bay area I paid 24.2k for 2009 tl with tech with 61k miles from the dealer. Hope I didnt over paid for it. But mine was certified by acura. I'm not worried about the miles with that year cause most likely it's mostly freeway miles.

I'm the market in San Diego as well. Very tough car to come across at my willing price which is 26-27K OUT THE DOOR.

I have my own financing as I work for the lender but that seems to put off the dealers because they can't make their reserves and points off me so they're become very unwilling when I tell them I bring my own financing even though the price I'm willing to pay is definitely not in low ball terms.

I guess I'll keep looking. Not many private party sales for these cars

I should add that it's a 26-27K OTD for a 2010 TL tech pack w/ < 32K miles.
that's the deal I'm after.

To high, I think. I paid $26,250 for a 2010 sh-awd 6MT (took me forever to find one with a manual) with less than 16k on the odometer.

Thank you![/QUOTEthe milage isn't an issue. But that's too high a price. I bought my 09 shawd with 51,000 miles for 22,000 out the door zero down.

I got my 2009 TL w/ Tech last year with 27K miles on it for 30K, but this was CPO. It was in great condition. Maybe I paid a lil much for it, but this is the one that I wanted. And I was paying blue book at the time so I'm happy with my purchase. Now theres about 43K miles on it. I also did 0 down, and financed the whole thing. Added on the 100K warranty.
