2009 TL (Tech, AWD, 105 KM mileage) Won't Start - Help please
I attempted to start my TL today but no luck. When I got out of it last night, the immobilizer sound went off while the car was running but I went back and turned it off, no problem.
This morning and today the car won't start at all. My push button start is lit up solid green and there's a red light flashing next to the D on drive on the console. The brakes are locked so I think the immobilizer is in, but I have no idea. I'm fairly new to the car as of a couple months ago so I don't really know the ins and outs, I can't seem to find a manual ignition to take the key out of the keyfob out and try it on.
FWIW, the Keyfob blinks red when I hit any of the lock/unlock/panic buttons but nothing happens on the car.
Any suggestions? I'm trying to think of any way to get around taking it to the dealer as I'd rather not pay an arm and a leg if at all avoidable.
Thanks.

Try putting the fob in the hole next to the start button. Then try to start. If not, its the battery. If you still have the OEM battery there is a hole on top of the battery that shows either green or red (battery inspection window). Bet you its red.

You guys were both right, I had CAA get me a jump start for my car as a last resort before calling the dealership and that fixed the problem.
Thanks a ton! A lot cheaper to replace a battery than ECB or the alternatives. I'll pick one up this weekend and attempt installing it myself.
