I wonder if they will have the spy shot coverings available as an option. I think the spy shots made this car look better. At least you could pretend you have a good looking car underneath.

Just got a look back at the LeftLane News photos of the TL back on page 37 of this thread...and I have to say that side profile is pretty boring. And what is with the gas door being like 3" from the edge of the windows...why so damn high? Right through the crease.
Also the rear has just too much damn plastic (especially on the corners). Again..looks like a big hipped woman of a car...wearing some bling (chrome) in the hopes of getting some attention.
I agree with most on here that we will have to see it in person...but based on the photos...it looks like an overweight luxury sedan that has lost it's sporty heritage. Just washed and waxed my 06 NBP and have to say...it still looks pretty damn nice.

I will admit that from the few pics we've seen so far it looks like the 4G has some major flaws. But when it comes down to it I think that most people who had and loved the 3G TL will not like the 4G. The 3G is pretty much chrome-less, it has the unique ridge line on the side of the car and it has a quiet, smooth, sporty, luxurious feel to it. Now Acura completely disowned the current TL fan base and come out with this IN YOUR FACE, SUPER SHINY, SUPER CURVY, CHROMED OUT VEHICLE.
That look has worked for M35 and the Chrysler 300C but it may not work as well for this vehicle.
Regardless it'll sell and I'm sure it'll look hot once people change the grill, debadge, drop, rims etc.

I guess it has pushstart...that should shut some complainers up. Interior looks solid as usual...I hope they didnt get rid of the carbonfiber/wood trim accents though...that would be a really bad move IMO. Anyone notice the "HDD" button?

I think in time we'll all start to like the latest designs. I've been thinking about it, Honda/Acura has always put out good stuff. It didn't always like them at first, re: latest civic, but in time the design shows it's strengths.

I just want to say that these are from my cell phone, and it put them into low res format (i was almost out of room), and as soon as they saw the picture phone come out they all stomped on it - so the pic of the silver one was taken WELL above the speed limit......
There was a dark beige following two silver ones (the first non dark beige i've seen). Yes, the quality sucks, but it looks like the chrome wheels are 19"? and silver hides the huge grill better. i knew i should have put my regular camera in the car tonight........

About as fast as expected with a 3.5 V6 - i never left 6th gear in the S to catch up. No vtec sound. I only heard some engine revs and much intake noise.

TL: The staff car of real-estate agents will be all-new in 2009. Slightly larger, the TL builds on TSX styling themes with multitiered flanks and a guillotine-like corporate grille blade. A front-driving 3.5-liter V-6 is now the base engine (it was only offered before in the sporty Type-S) and should make about 290 horsepower. The new Type-S, due later in 2009, is expected to rip, with a 3.7-liter V-6 making 330 to 340 horsepower and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive from the RL.
