Off topic but, the v6 coupe is as fast if not faster than a TLS. Not bad for not having a LSD. The engine is nearly as powerful and it weighs about 110 lbs. less. We have an auto in the family and it's a blast to drive, doesn't quite handle or brake like the TLS, but it pulls pretty hard. If I ever had to downgrade from my TL, I would have no problem getting a coupe v6 MT. The 6MT AWD TL should easily run those times or better, but I holding my breath on weather it can trap as well.

I'm going to be at Mase Engineering monday, my buddy is getting his S2000 dyno'd and I'm gonna throw my SH AWD on just for fun when he goes to the track next I'll run my TL too just for fun. I have a G-Tech Pro and on level surfaces it's pretty dead on accurate, I'll have to play with that.

the car feels quick, especially for it's weight, but 5.5 sounds optimistic to me, that's mid/high 13's. I did run my buddy's WRX today with exhaust, everything else pretty much stock. we were dead even to 100mph till we let off, pretty funny.

here's some shots from the dyno, it did 207whp on Mase's dyno. his dyno usually reads about 10% lower than a dynojet which puts the numbers pretty much right where they should be with the drive train loss.

here's my buddy's supercharged S2000, it did 332whp on Mase's dyno, that's like 365whp on a dynojet.

Mase's NSX, gotta love NSX's

Wait a second, the TL SH-AWD only got 207 Wheel horsepower?

wait is that a awd-dyno so does it take into account all four wheels or just the two front or two rear?

207HP at the wheels seem awfully low if its all four wheels wouldn't you say???

it's on a AWD Dyno Dynamics Dyno, it takes into account all four wheels. since the car is AWD there's now way to dyno it on a 2WD dyno. dyno dynamics show the lowest numbers of just about any dyno, they typically read about 10% lower than a dynojet. adding 10% puts 207whp up to 228whp which is exactly 305hp - 25% drive train loss so it sounds low but it's right in the ball park.

That's strange.....C&D's test a few months ago got 6.0sec flat 0-60. Anyways, the general range I've seen is 5.8-6.9sec.

Every car has at least a .5 sec variation when looking at magazine times, some have more.

there's a lot of variables. one magazine may get a california 91 octane version, another could get a sea level 93 octane one, you never know. one could end up with one brand new, the next could get one that's got 5,000 ragged out test miles on it. any of those scenarios could effect the power and performance.
