Wondering How much will the New 25 Touch Screen Affect 22-24 MDX Resale Value?

Now with the introduction of the Touch Screen in the new 25 MDXs, any thoughts on how much of an impact that will have the Resale Value of the 22s, 23s, and 24s.? I'm on the Fence about either buying my 22 MDX with an expired lease (which I extended at the same monthly of $610 until February 2025) for $35,400 OR lease a new 25 MDX (either a A=Spec Advance, an Advance, or a Type S) OR entertain a new 25 Mazda CX-70 Premium Plus Turbo S (lease)? My 22 MDX Advance will have 22K miles next month, it has been trouble free for the 37 months. I saw a few Low Mileage 22 Advances on Dealer Used Car lots for $42K +/- ( a few months ago that number was higher! Before the 25s came out). Just thinking out loud. I for one am NOT a fan of the TTIP. It is a subjective thing, however, anyone that has taken my MDX for drive, HATES IT!. I'm thinking the new interior revamped with the Touch Screen will negatively impact the resale value. Being fully aware that my Buyout price of $35,400 takes the depreciation hit, and if the new model retained the TTIP that would be a "bargain" in my eyes. This changes the circumstances. And I know If I test drive and see the Touch Screen, it would be enough for me to Go For It. I would keep my Cash $38,000 wit the taxes, in the bank and offset some of the new Higher lease payment.

Another Qualifier is to test drive a new 25 Mazda CX-70 for comparison being about $13K Less than a new MDX A-Spec Advance and $19K Less than a Type S.

This is purely uninformed opinion, but I think over time it will have no impact at all. Much like the B&O sound system vs. ELS in previous years, some people will prefer one over the other but for most of the buying public (picking up a used vehicle years from now) these won't even factor into the decision. And for every hyper-picky buyer who will do anything to avoid the TTI, there will be another hyper-picky buyer who doesn't want a fingerprint-covered touchscreen. Buy what YOU want; I don't think planning ahead for future resale should factor into your decision at all.

That's exactly why I posted this! It invokes voices of reason . You are like being on a fence about buying a suit. The salesman comes over, looks in the mirror, brushes the lapels and says......the suit looks great on You. A little tailoring and Bingo ...Sold ! LOL.
Now, I think I'll wash MDX today !
