Seatbelt will Kill me!

I'm 5'3" and the seat & seatbelt have been maximally been adjusted. The seatbelt dangerously rests on my Suprasternal notch! A moderate to severe accident may well fracture my trachea and/or a vessel in my neck. (No, I cannot afford to trade my 2017 MDX.) What now?
"Seat-belt injuries to the neck in a traffic accident or any trauma to the neck in other situations can cause tearing of the inner surface of the carotid arteries and lead to the formation of a fresh thrombus, or can cause partial to complete transection of the carotid arteries." (PubMec NIH). Ps: NOW you're DEAD! Help!

Do you have a 4th Gen MDX or 3rd Gen MDX? My wife is 4'11" and she sits very close to our 19 MDX steering wheel. More than likely, she would make contact with the steering wheel airbag first and stopping her forward momentum before having the issue you described above. As a passenger, she likes to adjust the front passenger seat to max height and further back into the max protection zone with the passenger front airbag, seatbelt, seat airbag, side curtain airbag, and side impact protection from the frame. Add in Acurawatch, vehicle crumble zones, higher chances for bumper-to-bumper contact with other SUV/CUV/trucks, and re-enforced zones that can also help reduce and re-direct impact G-forces on occupants.

I don't know the statistics on crash data; but, the MDX would seem to be the saftest vehicle in the Acura lineup. We also have an RLX and she does the same procedures in both vehicles. The only downsides are most bumpers for SUVs/Trucks are above the RLX bumpers and some are right at head level for me/her with a side impact.

I wish Acura would make adjustable pedals with their vehicles to move shorter drivers further away from the steering wheel (Plus, give me some extra leg room at 6'3").
