Website was updated yesterday to include 2022 MDX build and price. Not sure if MDX trim levels will be the same in US (RDX has a few differences) but they have MDX/Tech/A-Spec/Platinum Elite

Looks like it will be closer to 2/2/21 for the USA Acura website to be updated for the 22 Acura MDX build.

I think the Canadian pricing is very competitive! It should sell well here, as the MDX has always done in Canada.
My only minor complaints are that, somehow Acura Canada does not include that beautiful Performance Red for the Advance trims for both the new MDX and the new TLX, while that is available in the US. Very annoying! Also, just like everyone mentioned before already, the 360 degree surround camera system should have been included for all trims, and not just the Advance.

My wife really wants the 360 camera...lol. I personally haven't used mine in the RDX. I'm perfectly okay with just the regular camera. I was hoping to just get the A-spec one as it has all the bells and whistles I want (adaptive dampers, 3D sound system, upgraded leather seats with suede insert, cooled seats, etc). I like the HUD in my RDX but with the new digital display in the MDX, I'm thinking HUD isn't necessary anymore.

I have the HUD in my RLX and it is missing on my MDX. I really miss not having the HUD on my MDX.

I have a TLX with the A Spec Advance trim and it has the 360 camera, which I use all the time.... very useful! It should not be limited to the Advance trim really.... if not for this 360 camera, I will be perfectly happy with the MDX A Spec trim!

Maybe in Canada, in US TLX ASpec does not come with 360 camera. We have the current generation MDX Advance and it was the only model offered with 360 camera as well as some other featues like heated rear seats not offered in other models.
FWIW It appears the camera resolution on the models with 360 camera are worse than non 360 models this is evident in the RDX it had worse camera resolution than our MDX. It's as if Acura decided to cut cost to compensate for the additional cameras

Well, those in the USA will complain we get certain options and they do not. For example my Aspec has a heated steering wheel and their Aspec does not include this. When I had my 17 RDX Elite, they could not get power folding mirrors and we did. There are several other things as well.

We seem to get the better packages but our colour combos are not the same. That's because the USA has a much larger population and get more choice.

Let's hope that Acura won't remove the 360-Camera from the Type-S trim, just like the TLX Type-S.

It is the other way around for the 3G MDX. The graphic resolution on the 360-Camera is significantly better than that on the regular Rear-view-Camera.

In fact, even the Rear-view-Camera on my 2012 TL has better resolution than the Rear-view-Camera on my 2014 MDX. Especially at nighttime when the outside ambient lighting is weak, the MDX Rear-view-Camera picture is almost unusable to see anything that is more than a car's length away.

Yea looks like surround view camera is only for MDX Platinum Elite in Canada. Wish it would be a standalone option...

It has always been like this for the 3G MDX. Only the Elite and the Hybrid trims get the surround view camera.

Yeah Acura doesn't do standalone options outside of what, ordering the heated steering wheel from the Advanced trim and installing it on a lower trim?

Yea I understand. It's an Acura thing for sure. It's just too bad one can't get the A-spec appearance package along with the Advance/Platinum Elite features. May be the PMC edition will be that fully loaded model like the TLX and RDX.

I'm new to Acura, but it seemed to me that the only 'options' they offered were really just dealer accessories that are easily installed, like heated steering wheels. I was told that the dealer orders vehicles in 'batches' and just selects how many of each 'Package" they want per model (makes it cheaper for Acura). However if Acura was to start offering separate 'Trim' levels on each model - with optional equipment/colour packages - they would need to move to a 'factory order' process (which would be GREAT for Acura customers!). I would have gladly customized my Acura ('21 RDX A-Spec) and waited 3 months for delivery.

We are less likely to stay with Acura due to this frustration. Really like the car, but there are lots of other options.

I like it… I would’ve kept the moldings body and windows as is and just change the grille. But car looks great.
