2022 Acura MDX Type-S grabby brakes
Anyone else experience grabby brakes with their type S? I want to test drive another to see if it’s common. I’ve heard about possible brake problems so just want to make sure. Thanks y’all!!

I daily drive an MDX Sport Hybrid and every time I get behind the wheel of my wife's '22 MDX Type S, there is definitely a mental adjustment that I have to make when it comes to the brakes. While both cars have excellent brakes, the best way that I can describe it is that the brake pedal feel on the Sport Hybrid is more progressive while the Type S engages the brakes harder at the top of the pedal travel. I guess that if I drove the Type S every day, this is something that I would just get used to and not even think about, but with only driving that car occasionally, the first few miles of driving are always more prone to braking harder than needed for the situation.

Me too, I need to recalibrate my footwork every time I come back to MDX-S after not driving it for a while.
The grabby feel to me is like the brake force surges too fast, then eases out too slow. I find the profile not very friendly in stop-n-go traffic, but not nasty enough that I cannot adjust to. I think it is just a characteristic of the car - once you drive it long or often enough, you get used to it.
