Question ZR tires

what are the best tires in the market? (price not being a factor).
I need to buy some tires for my 18's cause the ones I have are bad, so please help.

best tires for what ???.......the track...the street....the winter.....If you could be more specific we can narrow down the options for you. does it have to be a ZR tire or can it just be Z rated ? Besides price not being a factor ... will you be willing to use a soft compound tire that only gives you 4000 miles but exceptional performance ?

I am looking for performance tires for everyday driving. I dont race or go to the tracks and yes they must be ZR tires. I heard toyo proxies T1-S are wonderful...

Although I personally have not owned a set of SP9000 or Michelin Pilots, I have to say the Toyo Proxes T1-S are awesome tires. They're quiet and ride really nice, stick to the road and have great wet traction. A bit pricey but I would surely recommend them to anyone.

I'm running the 225/40/18 Yokohama AVS DBs. I love this freaking tire. It's so much quieter than stock. It handles great too. $153 on tirerack

OK now I have 18X8 and I want to now which tire size is better and why? ( I have a 96 2.5TL)

225/40/18
or
235/40/18

I think it is 205/60/15
