So last night I was still on the fence between the XXR 530 or Konig Milligram wheels. I went to the shop during lunch for a test fit, and I'm glad I did. Sorry about the picture quality, iPhone is all I have on me. If you guys want some additonal pics, I'll post some in the next few days. BTW: Specs: 18x8.75 +35 Offset 235/40/18, but might throw on 5mm spacers in the rear to get it nice in flush!

im thinking about getting a set of these as well...i'd really like to see some up close shots comparing the +20 vs the +35 offset on these wheels on the TL...i know lots of owners out there have them now, would you guys post up some from the same angles so i can see the difference in the gap?

this is my daily driver so i dont want any fitment issues, but if the +20 extends a little further without creating any rubbing or fender issues then I'd prefer to go that route for the better look...

no, not currently dropped...but would likely add a little drop if I add the wheels...nothing drastic, maybe 1.5" or so...

i know the +35 will fit w/ no issues, but if the +20 sit a little more flush then I'd like to go that route...but I dont want to have to roll the fenders or any of that...I'd like to go 235/40-18 with the tires

Now I feel better for buying new rotors even though I didn't need them. They look hella sexy behind those wheels.

i want to do chromium black 18's... my type s has no mods except for a black vinyl roof. so im not lowered and the seller told me to get 18.8.75 +35 offset. i will lower her in the future but dont want rubbing issues and dont want to roll fenders. so is this a good size? is the +20 much of a difference from the +35.

yeh that is a good size if you plan on dropping it a lil in future.. mine is lowered past 2" at the moment and i wanna go lower.. and i dont scrape...
with +35 you wont have as much concave to it as with +20

they do fit if you make them... i heated them up with a heat gun on low temp then just pushed them in, its a little tight at first but they do snap in and stay put.
they are not flush, they do stick out about 1/8" but way way cleaner than the xxr caps

can you post a close up for the fit? Did you just heat the little clip things at the back of the cap?

yeh just heat the little clips on the back, but dont heat them to a point where they start to become soft.... when installing them into plate if you dont hear little snap after whole cap is in that means you heated the ends too much.
here are some close ups

^Use the white TL above as reference. He is slightly lowered and running 235 tires with a +35 offset.

You can check the pics in my progress thread to see how the 225 tires with 20 offset fits. I'm more lowered than the white TL above. Basically the lower you go, the less poke. If I were you I'd go with the +20 offset and 225 tires. That way you will have a decent amount of concavity without hella stretching the tires.

Mine should be in today Next will be getting the tires, can't wait to get them installed. While I like the look of the NBP with the Chromium Black, I went with Gold. Should have the tires and then mounted by the end of the week!
