Worth it to purchase lifetime warranty for $13/tire

So my tires wore through to the belts yesterday and unfortunately I've been forced to make my tire replacement decision sooner than anticipated. I had my heart set on the Goodyear F1 All Seasons 255/40/18 (A spec Rims), but the place where I get my tires from had to order these and it would take too long.

I ended up going with a Toyo Proxe 4. Don't know too much about it, but I hope they are a good tire. The annoying thing was the tire place refused to mount anything larger than a 245/40/18, so I went with this size.

My main question is about the warranty they are offering. For $52 (13/tire), they are offering a lifetime warranty on the tires. It's not prorated, so even if I were to curb a tire and need a replacement 2 years from now, they would give me a brand new tire. Would you guys go for this?

I think its worth it. One replacement and its paid for itself. ESPECIALLY if its not prorated which is how many warranties work. I would jump on that

I did this with my factory tires after getting my first flat with a local tire store - since then I've gotten 2 replacement tires and 2 other patches for $80 ($20/tire) extremely worthwile for me !

I have a knack for finding every nail, screw, and other object in the road, so when I get new tires, I will be getting the road hazard insurance. Just one unrepairable flat (ie. the object is too close to the sidewall), and it pays for itself.

Those warranties are prorated and a complete waste of money and often do not include mounting and balancing.

See my original post. Not pro rated but unsure about the mounting/balancing part. I did end up going for this.
