hey all.... like 2 days ago i was driving and hit a freaking reflector on the road... the outcome of that was i got a freaking FLAT!!(the rear passenger had a bump on the side of the tire) and the tires were only 2 weeks old... (continental ecocontacts) anyhow, i went to get it fixed and they told me that i didn't purchase the road hazard insurance. i was like WTF!!! anyways after spending on 2 more freaking tires, i noticed that i had a dent on the rim. to make it worse when i had my alignment done the guy said that there was something throwing off the driverside front wheel. meaning the wheel curves in. and from what i hear, there goes another $1200. getting to the point, i need 1 '02 TLS rim. i saw this on eBay and was wondering about you alls thoughts...

no curbs... reflector thingys in the middle of the road.....

 

Ouch! I hit a curb passing on the right a few weeks ago (stupid, I know) and ended up with a balloon spot on the side of the front passenger tire. However, I just replaced the one, even though I had 20K+ miles. I don't think they should have sold you two new tires if you already had fairly new ones already.

 

Are you sure it was JUST a reflector thingy...? All that damage from something so tried and true seams peculiar. I am suprised there aren't many many more CLAIMS against that type of thing happening... Check with your auto insurance to see what they can do for you.
