Will these 19's Rub?

I want to run some ADR GT Sports (19 inches) on my TLS these rims are 19x7.5 with a 42mm offset. The important variable in this question is that I have lowered my car with the Eibach pro-kit (2.1 inches on the front and 1.7 in the rear). Do any of you foresee any problems with rubbing? I have received conflicting information with this question (yes and no). Are any of you running this application or know of someone who is so I can get a better idea of how this will turn out? Please post a reply if ya know! Thanx!

oh yeah the tires are 225/35/19's

Rubby Rubby. Better get a higher offset or raise her up.

well, the two best tires to fit on that rim size is 225- and 235/35/19. if rubbing was a potential issue, i would opt to put 225s but most of these tires do not have the right load rating (ericL will tell you this! ) and the rolling diameter is slightly smaller. this would mean putting on the 235s because it does have the right load rating and is almost exactly the same rolling diameter. however, these will definitely rub witha 42 offset. plus most tire makers suggest 235s on 8" wide rims as best fitting...but they can also fit 7.5s. another thing with the 42 offset, which is on the low side, camber correction can cause even more rubbing. a higher offset wheel will have more headroom.

if you can wait, try and find something else. but if you can't wait any longer, these will *fit*. i have 7.5" wide rims, 225/40 tires, lowered on prokits, camber corrected in the rear...and i do rub sometimes if i turn hard or the road gets extremely bumpy. i knew some rubbing would be present, but i couldn't wait any longer and i did like my wheels a lot. in other words, i was willing to live with it...fortunately, it is occassional light rubbing.

I appreciate your feedback, it seems the consensus from most of the forum members is that they will rub. I really like these rims, as there does not seem to be many other 19's available for this car. I have noticed that many others have a 45+ offset, some going into 51mm. now the 42mm seems low in comparison with others and their setup. I will keep looking as I can wait.

Once again thanx for your feedback, much appreciated!
