Will it rub? (Tein S-tech + Spacers)

Hi guys, had a quick question for you.

This answer has been sort of pieced together through information I found in a bunch of previous threads, but this specific situation hasn't been brought up so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I've got an 06 TL, non Type-S on the stock 17" wheels (tires are 235) and I've just purchased Tein S-Tech Springs and 20mm F/ 25mm R spacers for it (just waiting for them to arrive in the mail now!)

I'm wondering if this setup will rub against my fenders going over speed bumps, or when I have 5 people in the car. I'm going to be driving about 400 miles with a full car in a month or so, so I don't want to run into any issues.

Thanks!

You'll need to roll your rear fenders. The fronts should be fine.

No one on earth can tell you for certain, you're just going to have to bolt them on and see. You're right on the line, literally. You'll be exactly 1mm further out than I am, and I'm super close. It's going to come down to exactly how much natural negative camber your car gained when you dropped it (every car is different). My car could fit another 1mm, but your car may not. Almost certainly you'll need to roll the rear quarter lip, but the front should be fine.

Why not save yourself the trouble of rolling fenders by just getting the correct spacer size for stock wheels and OEM tire size that has been proven on acurazine time and time again 15mm front and 20mm rear? I'm less than a finger gap between tire and fender and I never rub with those specs on a 235 tire
