Will 235/40/18 on a 18x7.5 wheel rub?
Offset = +48
Anyone know?

I'm running 18x7.5 with 50 offset.
225/45 tires with no problems and almost 1/2 an inch clearence from the bottom of the spring.
No fear from the lip.
Your tires are a bit wider, but also smaller diameter, you should be fine.
