I forgot to add. Is there anything that I need to do other than take the 16's off and put on the 17's? Should I take it somewhere and have them calibrate the speedometer and odometer. Sorry for the lack of expertise on the topic.

hahaha..the dealer is pretty....dumb.. :p
take it to a speed shop to do it. Unless you have the tools.......... :p and you don't need anything to recalibrate speedo...and the odometer, your not even supposed to mess with it..besides....ours is digital.

O.G.
I am assuming you got the regular 2002 TL and not the type-S, hence the 16" wheel question.
FYI, the TL-S comes with 17" wheels so that alone should answer your question.
There are numerous people rolling around in 17s, 18s, 19s, and even 20s.
BTW, why would you care if the speedometer is off like a few mph? Just enjoy your ride with nice rims!
