Guys I have used the Toyo T1-s I have bought 2 sets in 2 summer seasons Now it looks like there New tire is the the T1-R There great tires but are fully spent by the end of the summer.

Does anybody have the Toyo T1R tires on what do you think?

Do any of you have any favorites in the 175.00 - 225.00 per tire range Let me know

I have Toyo T1-Rs on my custom 3-piece Simmons Alta wheels as my summer set up and I love them. I love the look, but more importantly, the ride and dry performance is outstanding. Shockingly, they are also really, really good in the wet as well. And to top it off, they are quieter than my winter/fall Toyo Proxes-4 I have on my stock wheels when at highway speeds. Another week or two and I put them on again....I love the spring and summer!

 

I'll add, as for wear, they are fine. I have the A-Spec suspension. I don't know what your driving habits are, but I take on and off-ramps like Michael Schumacher trying for pole position and the wear is just fine. I check the air every week for proper inflation and my tire guy is a pro, literally (Trans Am racer.) Most tire wear problems are due to poor maintenance or improper balancing.
