When to replace tires?
I have about 26,500 miles on my 08 TypeS. Just hit 20% oil life so will be heading in for that service soon, and my brakes are starting to squeak fairly constantly.
That said, I am fully expecting brakes to be part of the next service and it got me thinking, when should I expect to replace the stock tires?

Wow, only 26,500 on your brakes and they are ready for replacement? Do you drive your TL hard? I imagine you have a manual.. right?
Not busting your chopes, but I replaced my stock OEM pads on my '04 manual at around 25,500 miles not because they needed to be replaced but because I hated all of the dusting. I still have those OEM pads in my garage and they have perhaps around 35-40,000 miles left in them. A next door neighbor just passed 80,000 miles on his '05 manual and he still has his stock OEM pad.. but they're getting close.
