Will 19x8.0, with a 48 offset, Lowenhart BR5's fit the TL-S

without rubbing, or will I have to cut into the fenderwell?

Nice rims. It will probably rub, you should try a higher offset.....52+

I have 7.5 with 48 offset and it get's really close to fender, but it doesn't rub. So those might rub in the back.

Take it from someone who has the same exact size and offset. They barely rub but unfortunately with people in the back and tight turns I hear them rubbing.

So bottom line definetly get them in a 19 but like my boy Bitium said higher offset. And consider also going with a 225/35 tire instead of a 235/35

Hope this helps...

i think 48 is the highest in the 8" width.

however, there are SELECT OFFSETS availabe...whatever that is.
- 70 in the superlow disk
- 64 in the low disk
- 52 in the high disk

the DISKS i refer to involve caliper clearance i believe.

check it out though.

Actually I have 19"x8" wheels, and the offset on them is 51mm (which, I have to admit, they are rare). And, yes, they did rub a little... But the guys that lower my car (Wheel Warehouse, Anaheim, CA) did such a good job at the "cutting" job that I can't even see where they did the cutting. They didn't actually cut the fender... but the plastic part of the bumper that comes around and end at the fender.... I was very reluctant, at first, to have anything cut cause I thought it would look bad and depreciate my car if I want to sell it in the future... but when I picked up my car... they pointed out where they did the cutting... and I really couldn't even tell what they had done to it. Just make sure you having people with experience do it. And "Stanman" (and anyone from South CA) if you are going to the meet in Fullerton next month you'll get to check out my car (and vice versa)... Can't wait to meet all you guys....
