Is wheelmax.com any good?

Are they reputable? How about their products??

http://www.wheelmax.com

I'm thinking about getting a set of wheels and tires from them in the near future. If you've heard of 'em, or had direct business with them, pleaset let me know how it went!

Thanks.

yup, wheelmax has a bad rep. use their website for information only, and buy the wheels you want elsewhere.

I bought my rims from there. While I received them on time, a few of them have bent already, and the finish is starting to chip off. I wouldnt recommend buying from them. Nym31mp, your posts crack me up everytime.

its not THEIR rims that bend easily..they are just the selling them..its the cheap brand your buying...not wheelmaxes fault that the rims bend and chip.....thtas what happens when you spend 600 on rims...the only brands they carry which are acceptable are axis, rh evo, 5zign, motegi, and ace....those rims are fine if your looking for cheap rims that you dont plan on keeping for long

yeah..no doubt their buisness practices are horrible...i was just trying to dispell the belief that anyone might get from your statment that the reason the rims from wheelmax crack is because of wheelmax, which it might be interpreted as...buying cheap rims from even the most reputable place is still gonna screw you i nthe end

Actually I have heard that wheelmax copies the wheels using substandard procedures and sells them as authentic.

Here is something about Velox wheels and how Wheelmax was supposedly copying the wheels and selling them as Velox...here is the link:

http://www.veloxperformance.com/press.asp

They even pissed off Axis Wheels from what I hear...I dunno about their practices.

Victoria tire is way cheap with pricing, free freight (just a so-called handling fee). Only problem I see is limited selection in some sizes. I bought 19x8.5" ADR sterlings from them pretty cheap.
