Wheel spacers
I just installed a new set of replica Type-S wheels and new tires the other day. I'm extremely satisfied with them. The finish is absolutely perfect on every wheel, (while I didn't physically weigh them) the weight concern of other members simply isn't an issue and I've gotten a ton of compliments from people at work, while fueling up the car and Facebook friends.
However, how much of a difference would it make (appearance wise) if I were to install, say, 20 or 25mm spacers to move them out just a tad?
I'm lucky enough to have a friend who owns a 4 bay shop and I mounted the tires and balanced all 4 myself. Not one shake, shimmy or vibration at all. I think the most weight I had to use on any of the wheels was 2.5oz's which proves to me that the wheels and tires are pretty decent.
My funds were a bit limited as I also installed front pads and rotors as well so I went with Nankang NS20 tires (all seasons). They're extremely quiet, handle exceptionally well and the grip (while I don't hot rod in a sport sedan) is excellent.
So- 20 or 25mm spacers? Would they even be noticeable?

How wide are your replica type s's? I would go 15mm in front and 20mm in back. that's what i did on my 06 base stockies. brought the wheels out just enough so they are only slightly sunken in now. If you want slightly more aggressive go with 20mm front and 25mm on the rears. i can only speak from personal experience on the 06 base wheels, 8" width.

The replicas are stock sizes...
And are just about any spacers that are available on Amazon decent enlighten to install? They essentially just slip in between the hubs and the wheels, right?

I've had Ichiba V2s for over 4 years with no issues. I'm running 18x8.5 A-Specs but the offset is the same as your stockies.
The only "problem" I've had were with the nuts provided. They were made out of very soft metal, so they stripped when torquing them down, which made it a complete pain to remove when I had to swap rotors. I contacted Ichiba about it and they charged me $30 for a new, full set which seemed to be better quality. No issues since.

We offer the H&R spacers at great pricing. I'd think 25mm would be a bit too aggressive as that's about an inch spaced out. I'd stick with 15mm or around there.
