Don't know anyone using them, but yes, you do need to change the studs to ones ecxactly the spacer's width longer than the stock studs.

Usually a small spacer like 5mm won't require changing the wheel studs. You will need spacers that can accommodate 5x114.3.

I'm using 5mm spacers.....I had to get special lugs so they would reach the bolt.

I have 5mm spacers as well. I finally got my wheels on last night. I have a slight vibration from 60-80mph that I am having looked at today. I'm almost positive that its the balance on my wheels. I'll know for sure today.

18x8 GM Falken Torque 5's (38mm offset + 5mm spacer= 43mm offset. Just clears the caliper.)

i had 5mm spacers, didn't need new posts.. to rid of vibration, you need hub rings.. any tire shop will have them..

This is correct. You can always ask your Rim and Tire shop to check and see if you will need spacers with the wheels you are interested in.

Update....

I had a smart tire system installed with my rims and tires and they found one of the sensors had broken off on one of my front tires. They checked the balance again on the fronts and thought that the sensor may have been the problem. I still have the vibration, but not as bad. I called Discount this morning and they are going to road force test the tires and then if needed order some hub rings for me. Discount also offered to re-imburse me for the sensor if Vulcantire or smarttire charge me for a replacement.

I must give Discount some props for handling the situation and doing what it takes to make the customer happy.

I got my wheels but took them off. The spacers that i have are not "hub centric" and there was too much wheel vibration. The fact that i will have to change the wheel studs doesnt sit to good with me either. They look great on the car! I am looking into some custom made 5-7mm spacers that are hub and lug centric that are gauranteed to get rid of the vibration. Im just wondering if the spacers will push the wheels out too far.

Mine set pretty much flush with the fender. That is mostly due to my 8" tire(245). However I to am getting a vibration that is just to much to handle. I have ordered some Falken Circuit specs that WILL fit my car properly. Discount has to eat the rims and tires I had before because they ordered them thinking I had an automatic, not a manual. So now I will be moving to a 19x8 45mm offset rim with a 245/35/19 tire. They should be in this week sometime. Can't wait to get those in and get my Aspec suspension on. Will post pics once things are done.
