Wheel Offset Help
This will be the first car that I've put aftermarket wheels on, so pardon my ignorance on the matter. I understand what offset is and all that, but I wanted to know if a +45 offset would be enough if I wanted to run an 18x7.5 wheel on my TL-S. Also, what tire widths/aspects would you recommend with this? I'm not necessarily looking to go with the widest tire possible.. I was thinking 225. Also, I have H&R Sport Springs and I'd like the car not to rub when I have 2 or 3 people in it. (Am I asking for too much here?)
All input welcome. Thanks!

18x7.5 wheels, 45 offset, 225/40 tires, hnr sports...that sounds good!
with my setup, the only differences are the offset (42) and the springs (prokits, but the drop is about the same ). i rubbed slightly on initial lowering, and rubbed just a little more when i camber corrected the rear wheels. both occassions, it was only on hard turns and very bumpy roads. i shaved the tips of the rear bumper that becomes part of the rear wheel arch, and most of the rubbing is gone. it's better now with slight rubbing, but i have been a little lazy getting the perfect fit...it's cool with me though.
btw, have you checked the sticky thread above?
