Wheel Help

I'm new to Acurazine and to the Acura world. I Recently traded in my V6 Accord for an 07 TL Type S. I kept the wheels i had on the accord: they are KOBE Image 19/245/35 Front and 19/275/30 Rear. I had no problem with them in the accord and I just tried to fit them on the TL but the front wheels rub on the massive brembo calipers. I will truly appreciate suggestions and recommedations.

congrats on the new car by the way...you made a great choice with the Type-S....well I put some 19" black MRR staggered rims on mine...I did staggered because of the 3.5" lip I got in the back...also b/c it just looks nice...I know it's for a RWD car but it just looks so nice ...that is my suggestion...keep us posted on what you get at the end

For your car with the BBK like mine is going to be hard to find wheels that fit. If you want to use the same wheels you had on your Accord you're going to need spacers. A lot of people here will tell you that is not safe to use them. I'm using hub centric spacers on my 06 6spd so far no problem. The spacers I'm using are custom made, they are hub centric on the car and on the wheel so they don't rest on the studs. I paid $150 for them...... Or buy new wheels.

BTW
Welcome and good luck.

get some hubcentric spacers, the bolt pattern for the TL is 5 x 114.3 and with a centerbore of 64.1 to my knowledge.

What CMEANCE said is correct, you just need to find out the centerbore of your wheels.

Spacers suck IMO. Buy some new wheels. RJ makes nice wheels, Volk if you have $$$

falling out of your crack. Axis Hero's look nice. Work Varianza look great, $2200 shipped

for 4-19" wheels.
