Exclamation Wheel fitment RPF1's

What's up guys I need some help with wheel fitment. I'm looking at buying some 18x9.5 +45 enkei rpf1s and I just want to make sure they fit and if it's a good fitment. I know the stock wheels are +45 offset but since these are bigger and wider I didn't know how much a difference that would make fitment wise. Appreciate any help!!

18 x 9.5 +45 is god's fitment for a base IMO, but I'm not sure if you have Brembo's.

I run 18 x 9.5 +40 with a 265/35.

I have my rear quarter lips slightly rolled, but I don't think I needed it. You could run a 245 or 255 without issue at ANY height (stock or slammed). That's why I consider 18 x 9.5 +45 perfect fitment.

Here's another shot.

The 255/40 tire on the 18 x 9.5 actually looks fantastic, and rides nicer, though it's about .5" taller than stock. The .5" will not cause a problem, and will actually make your car look as if it's lowered more than it is.

yeah so I bite the bullet and got the wheels without a test or reading this turns out it in fact does not clear the brembos that I do in fact have fml lmao but the brembos aren't that big of a deal to me so I'm downgrading to base calipers. Will post pics when it's all said and done! And brembos soon for sale!

It happens, you wouldn't be the first. The Brembo thing is a bit weird with fitment I think, which is why there are always so many questions about them.

RPF1s are nice wheels, pics of fitment? I personally would have liked to see a lower offset and running brembos.

damn. downgrading from brembos just to make wheels fit? Imo, not a good idea...everyone and their mother wants brembos.

If i were you I would get spacers instead. cheaper (75$ per set, total $150 or so) and you'll have good fitment and beautiful brembos behind a really nice looking wheel....

So I've been looking into it and it seem like is pita to downgrade so I've nixed that idea lol now I'm left with a couple options either sell/trade the wheels, find lower profile performance brakes that will fit it, or like quanaman said the spacers. The only thing is I don't want the wheels to poke out like a low rider lol but if it look good nuff I'd consider fender flares maybe run even run wider wheels in the future. Idk what to do!!!!! Help!

You could always go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy 1mm thick flat washers. Buy a bunch of them and then install them on 2 of the studs opposite from each other. You can figure out how big of a spacer you would need based on how many washers it takes to let the wheels spin freely without hitting the Brembos.

Just buy some 1-3mm spacers or sell and buy the correct wheels. Future reference read and confirm before buying.

Yeah definitely learned my lesson I did read but I read the wrong thing apparently didn't take the brembos into account and I thought that being that the stocks were +45 it would be fine... In other news I'm selling the wheels now at a ridiculously discounted price please buy them

It all depends what you want and how much work you want to do.
i have the RPF1s in 18x9.5 +15 with 215/40/18
i just got it done. Haven't gotten my alignment but I believe I'm running -2.5 front / -5.0 degree camber.
no rubbing.

If you got your 215's to fit a 9.5", I guess I should have no issues getting my 225's on a 9.5" if I went that route. Still a good amount of wheel stretch. Looking at replacing my wheels, but since I spent $900 on nice tires, I'd like to keep them considering I have less than 1k miles on them and don't want to eat a ton of money selling them.

Considering the natural rear camber of the car is -2.5, the -5.0 doesn't seem that crazy to me. RPF1's look good on any car!

Oh forreal? I'll have to look at my last 2 alignment sheets because I swore they put mine at -2.5, but maybe it's -1.5. I could be trippin'.

depends where you get your tires put on. if it's a big box store (discount, etc) they won't put a 225 on anything larger than 9". the smaller places of course will do whatever you want

i use a camber kit to get my rear setup to a -1.0 camber, right in the middle of oem specs haha

Yeah, I got my tires from Discount Tire and have heard they will only mount a 225 up to a 9" wheel. I think if I get a 8.5", it would be perfect. A little less stretch than the current 8.75" I am running. I am looking at the VMR V710's in an 18x8.5 and a +35 offset. This thread inspired me: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-t...wheels-955813/. I posted some questions on it earlier today, so hopefully the OP gets back. He doesn't seem very active.

Actually, my last two alignments have had quite a bit of negative camber. Currently I have -2.1 on the rear left and -2.2 on the rear right. In the front I have -1.3 on the left and -1.2 or the right. I suppose it has something to do with being dropped about 1-2 inches. I have no idea how much lower I am than stock.Oh well. #datfitmenttho

measure your hub to fender distance. Stock is about 14.5 to 14.75. You'll know how low you are then

yeah.. I got a discount on my rpf1s from American tires and they told me they wouldn't mount the tires.
I went to a local shop and they had no problem mounting them. they did have to blast them to seat the bead but wasn't an issue.

here is a picture for reference on the size: 215/40/18 on a 9.5" . just remember every tire brand isn't the same.

I like the very mild camber in the back that I have. Front isn't noticeable. Plus, with that little camber, I can't imagine my tires will wear significantly more that OEM spec. I plan to keep up with my 5k rotations.

Ah, thanks! I will look at doing this when I get some time.

That stretch doesn't seem too extreme. Thanks for the pic, it's hard to find pictures of stretched tires with exact specs.

they are Achilles ATR Sports. $60tires. Lol

I daily my car maybe 10miles at most. That's why I don't care.

The Continentals DWs have a big sidewall. I would probably need to get a 195 just to make it look like a 215.

Took me forever to decide which tires. They run different sizes. Depends how much camber you are going for. Or only a stretch with no camber. Performance or just looks.
Look around and see.
