i've been hearing a lot of complaining about the oem el42 tires. is this another one of those only the people with problems are compalining and they ones doing fine aren't saying anything cus it's not neccessary? a la rattles?

i would like to know who changed their oem tires and the reason why

I have the newer formulated EL42s and haven't had any problems with flatspotting or vibes, I don't know about the hydroplaning - don't rain much here during the summer months.

I had the RE-030 HPT tires, and although they were OK, a recent flat tire pushed me into purchasing 4 Pilot Sport PS-2's. Those tires are the best tire I've ever used. From the moment I drove the car out of the shop, I could feel the improved ride, and better "feel" instantly. These tires rock...they're much quieter than the Potenza's, and really make the car feel like it should have from the factory. They're expensive, but when you consider what they do for the road feel and handleing, they're worth every penny...and then some.
