What tire do you prefer?

YES, 45K miles, that is correct!
Hondafans,
My TL "ate" the first set of Bridgestones, though not as bad as you go through tires. I got 22K miles out of them. I switched my tires last week at 68K, so actually 46K miles.
Your mileage may vary, but once I got the Service Bulletin performed regarding the rear bump stops and a re-alignment at Acura, my tire wear issues have pretty much disppeared.
I have also found that Acura is really the best place to get this car aligned. I am not sure what the issue is, but neither NTB or Merchants could get it right. Their machine indicated that it was "in alignment", but my dealer showed that it was out by a significant margin. Once the dealer aligned it, all was good. I went back to the other places and they refunded my money.
The interesting thing is that this also happened to my Suburban. I had major tire cupping issues on the inside of the tire. I kept taking it to the alignment shop. They indicated that all was well. I took it to the "stealer" and they showed my that it was out of alignment. I paid Chevrolet to do the alignment, put new Michelins on it and everything is wearing perfectly.
I don't know what the problem is, but most of these tire/alignment places are causing more problems than they are fixing. Maybe it is on purpose...causing my tires to wear out more quickly, so I will have to replace them sooner.
Whatever teh scenario, I would check the alignment at the dealer, get the rear bump stop SB completed, rotate and monitor air pressure.
One other thing, I typically run higher air pressure than what is recommended by Acura. I have a 6-speed, and I run 37psi up front, instead of 35. i keep the rear at 32-33psi.
My brother-in-law has at least 20K on the Pilot Sport A/S and the tires look great.
I am not sure what is going on with your car, but I would be rid of this car if I had to replace tires every 15K. I drive 25K miles per year. This car would not be worth an additional $1500 - $2K per year in tires.

Any opinions on General Exclaim UHP
Does anybody have this tire. I did alot of research reading many reviews on many 19" tires @ Tirerack. The General Exclaim UHP 245/35/19" is $125. And weighs only 23#. Just asking if anybody has experiance with this brand and or model. Tireracks reviews are mixed. Good and Bad.

my first set were Nitto's but have since changed over to the Federal 595 Super Steel's.
Decent price, tread wear is ok but not the best since it's a softer compound but if you want great handling at a real good price point, this is it. There's a reason why it has become the Drifter's tire of choice.

You have a serious problem somewhere.
I've had an '01 CL Type "S", '05 TL 6MT, and just bought a new '07 Type "S".
I have never gotten LESS than 50,000 miles from a set of Michelin Pilot A/S.
I think if you search through the threads, this type of mileage is much closer to the norm. than what you are getting.

JD, I had them originally on my ASA's, and honestly, for the money, they were GREAT. Fairly quiet, great dry traction, decent wet traction, and great wear.
I loved the tread pattern as well, very aggressive looking, and I would have gone with them again had I not wanted something with a bit more performance.....If you drive mildly hard, these are the best bang for the buck by far. Search my name, I did a full review on them when I got them....it's in here somewhere!

I ditched the crappy Bridgestone EL 42's for Falken FK 452's and love them so far. They are very grippy and have excellent hydroplaning resistance. The best tire that I have had so far are Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s. They were on my last car and they NEVER hydroplaned and I got 35000 miles out them. They were also very quiet, super grippy.
BTW, I am a very aggessive corner carver and was shocked at the milage that I got out of the Goodyears.
Also, I am on the stock rim and tire size.

I'm taking my car in Tuesday for bump stops and an alignment. If I can get 24k out of my next set of Pilot Sports I'll be more than happy as I'm addicted to the twisties.

I was just trying to find a lighter tire if I get a set of 19's.
My Volk RE-30's that I sold had Pole Position RE 050A 245/40/18" and they were great tires and not a bad price of $195. But they weighed 28#. I didn't mind because the Volk wheels weighed 17# with lugs. I was just concerned about getting a 19" wheel that weighs 25-26# then adding a 28# tire to it. Thats getting quite heavy. I have plenty of time to decide, but I was looking for a great tire that weighs less. I did find other high quality tires that weigh 23# but they are $320+ each I wish I could find a TOP rated 245/35/19" tire that is light and costs no more then $220 each. $320 per tire is too high.
Even though 21 years ago I spent $2200 on a set of 16" tires/wheels for my WS6 Firebird, and $500 for Koni Gas adjust shocks.

Thanks for all the Input
Right now I am thinking on getting the General Exclaim UHP 245/35/19" for whatever 19" wheel I decide on. Its almost exact diameter as my stock tires. Stock tires are 814 turns per mile, and the General is 810 turns per mile.
The Generals are 0.2" wider then stock and weigh only 23#.
Many great reviews @ Tirerack, and ONLY $125, plus $34 shipping.
4 Tires shipped for $534.

Just didn't want to change over the stock tires and wheels for the winter months.
