Well ,you could buy some race springs (various brands), but on the stock shocks it may cause premature wear (to the shocks).

The only springs I'd suggest using with stock would be one with a mild drop, i.e. TEIN H-Tech's, Eibach Pro-Kit, or H&R sports. Regardless, any shorter spring will reduce the life of any shock/strut.

If your shocks are in good condition you can run most springs: B&G, Eibach Pro Kit, H&R Sports, TEIN High Techs.

We have them all on sale on our website if interested: http://store.excelerateperformance.com

Which one gives you the best ride close to factory. I'm stuck between Tein H-Tech and H&R Sports.

Look around in the photograph sub-forum. There's a few cars with H-Techs and they got about 1.2 in the front and 1.0 in the rear. I was gonna get H-Techs but ended up going with H&R Sports for a slightly, slighty lower drop.

I have the Tein S-tech springs.

Drop is okay, maybe an inch or so, nothing spectacular. I really want to go lower but I'll wait on some coilovers...that's really what I should have done in the first place.

The ride is soft, very soft. The car feels like a boat the front end dips over every bump and it just starts bouncing a little after that.

How do you like H&R springs?

How is the ride quality. Are Tein H's are soft like Tein S?

I suggest something different, the Tanabe DF210's.

On the Tanabe website it states it is for the 3.2L: http://www.tanabe-usa.com/df210.asp?id=1

It looks and handles great on the Type-S.

I just installed H&R Sport Springs on my stock shocks this past Saturday. According to H&R, the drop is about 1.5 inches all the way around (roughly, the front might be a tenth of an inch more or less - can't remember). I love the ride quality - I think it is better than the stock springs. The drop is perfect for my tastes. This isn't scientific, but I can put two slightly overlapped fingers between the fender and the top of the tire (index and middle fingers). The area I live in has some subpar roads, and so far, the springs/shocks are handling them fine. Very pleased with them.

Yes, I have to agree that the H&R sport springs are very comfortable. I know OP wants to remain using the OEM shocks, but I opted for the Koni SP3's and WOW, what a difference. BTW-H&R Sports are rated for the TL at 1.4"F-1.3"R.

Pennstater- I live in Tampa as well!! Check out the Regions section for our Azine meet.
