What Springs Everyone Recommends. 07 Type S

best way for me is to just look at cars with the same size tires as mine. Then you can judge (sorta). And I say sorta because the angle of the camera is also decieving.
anyway, I hate cars: I messaged a company on ebay about some A-spec springs and shocks, and they said they will lower my TL 3/4". what say you?

On the stock rims thing, my car does not look that low but sitting next to a "slammed" Tl with 20s, mine is just as low if not lower than many of them.

Its about $45 savings from H&R to Tein H's.
I dont mind less drop as long as ride is better. I dont like the rear lower than front though. Thats one of the reason I have not purchased springs yet.
If I can get exact drop on stock wheels that would be great.

I have the H&R sports and I will tell you the subtle drop this spring and others like it give leave you wanting more. I love that the wheel gap is gone but now I sort of wished I had gone a bit lower. However the ride is very very good, similar to how the stock type-s handled on the highway, but less body sway in the corners.

Eibach Pro-Kit and Koni Sports...Lower perch rear and mid perch front...love it.
I also had the Eibachs with OEM shocks for a year with no issues, with a mild drop I'm confident that they'll last nearly as long as they would with OEM springs. The only reason I went with the Konis at that time is that I got a killer deal on them, but I have to say that adjustable damping has spoiled me...I play with the settings regularly experimenting with different stiffness settings based on season/temp, etc...definitely gets the most out of the handling capability of the TL-S.
But you'll notice a positive change even with just springs with little detriment to ride quality as long as you don't go crazy with slamming.

I dont want to spend that kind of money. I have teins on my civic. If I dont like the ride quality then I will take the springs out and put stock springs back in.
I decided to order H&R springs.

Youre gonna love them, I do!! I have no regrets, and if I decide to go lower later, I can just get the Koni adjustable height shocks (SP3?) and go a bit lower!

How are eibach pro-kit springs? Is it a decent drop? And can I just use my stock shocks with the eibach prokit springs? Will it have any negative impact on my suspension? Thanks.

If you have a Type-S, the springs are stiffer and shocks most likely are valved firmer to compensate for that higher spring rate. Using Pro-kit springs with Type-S shocks will probably yield a better ride/handling than if you used base TL shocks.
I would honestly install new struts with any new set of lowering springs I install because inevitably, the factory shocks are always going to wear out more quickly once you introduce higher spring rates not to mention lowered ride height. I've done just springs before on my cars and always end up pulling it apart again to add new shocks/struts because the dampers feel lacking.
