I am looking for wheels for the car. Guy at dealership a while back said nothing bigger than a 19 would fit. Told today a 20 would fit.

Does anyone know if a 20 will rub? 20's are easier to come by than 19's but I want to make sure 20's will not rub!

20s will fit even with a 35 profile tire if you do not drop your car. If you drop your car, then you should go with a 30 profile tire to minimize rubbing.

Rubbing or not will depend on the tire size you choose and also the size and offset of your wheels.

Can't help much if you don't post the specs of the wheels.

search 20" wheels/rims or something along those lines and you will find a bunch of pics and a bunch of info. I personally think they are too big but everyone has their own taste

Guy at dealership don't know wtf he is talkin about some guy on the forums here had 22s on his TL. All depends on width/offset/tire profile/rolled fenders, etc. Anyways I would not go bigger than 19, 19 is the perfect size for a 3G TL in my opinion.
