Nice. I knew you would know the answer to that. I changed my mind about the black Enkei PKR wheels... I think the black w/ chrome was a little too gangsta for my personality...

I ended up going with copies of the ones above in matte gunmetal...

Only problem was, they didnt have a picture of the color I ordered and I haven't been able to find it online. These were about 200 bucks less than the PKR's and the color is called Matte Gunmetal and is described as, " Gunmetal grey with little or no shine."

Specs are 18X8 5-100/114
Offeset 48

Tires are still gonna be the 245/40 18 Nitto NeoGen

Thoughts?

yeah, this style is cleaner and more aggressive than Enkei PKR, IMO.

anyway, there are lots of similar designs/copies of that style.

the offset (48mm) is going to make them more tucked in than stock wheels.

I'm not so sure what you mean by "tucked in..." I'm pretty new to all of this. Do you mean that the wheels will look inset and deeper than the actual wheel wells cause I'm not sure I'm liking the idea of that. Or will they just be flush with the wheel wells?

Do you know of any good example pics?

yeah, that's it. look at the stock wheels. they sit pretty far inside the wheel wells/fenders. OEM wheels are 17x8 +45mm.

the specs of the wheels you listed are 18x8 +48mm. the higher the offset the further away from the fender.

3 mm = 0.118 inch. 0.12" is not going to make any difference in terms of looks compared to stocks.

Most ppl with aftermarket wheels always try to get the wheels as flush/close to fenders as possible.

edit: personally, I like them flush with fenders.

eh, they ain't gonna fit due to BBK. 48mm is way too high for BBK. someone please correct me if I am wrong.

but I believe they have the right offset available for BBK.

in order to make those fit you will need a 10mm spacer....

best bet is to get like 30 washers all the same size... like lets say each washer is 1mm thick... put 5 on each lug... put painters tape over your brembo brakes... then put the wheels on... if it clears the brake you need 5mm spacer... if it doesn't keep putting washers till it does...

prob need a 10mm spacer tho... worst case would be a 15mm...

both cases require extended wheel studs... arp wheel studs are the best... found on ebay for like 60 bux a set of 20

if it's not too late, call the vendor/store about the BBK fittment issue. They will probably get the ones with lower offset that fits BBK.

yes, spacers is another option to make them fit BBK and sit flush, but I would get the right size wheels in the first place.

According to DiscountTiresDirect these are one of the approved wheels for my specific car... the guy said that they take the calipers into consideration which is why there are only a handful of wheels that supposedly fit. The Drag online brochure even states that these are approved for cars with BBK...

Check out the DR-31 at the far right...

I mean, if it doesn't fit it would be a huge PITA... but at least it would be their fault and they would have to pay for shipping and such... so I'm less worried.
