What Color scheme should I powder coat my TL-S wheels???

So i'm thinkin bout powder coating my TL-S wheels FOR MY TRACK WHEELS.

these are the color schemes i'm thinking about.

which one you think would look best....

& yeah i know they look good the way they are now, BUT its gonna be my TRACK wheels.

1. Black w/ yellow stripes
2. Black w/ red stripes
3. All out YELLOW
4. ALL out BLACK

Use the PICs below to visualize how each scheme would look......

PHOTO CHOPS WELCOME!!!

None of the above.

For "track wheels" you need something lightweight, not powdercoated OE wheels.

you're better off using your stock 17" tl-s rims as track wheels versus heavy 19" tenzo type-m rims.

i wouldn't do all out YELLOW... it would look nasty after a few runs on the track with the
brake dust.

The original color TL-S wheels come is the absolute best color. Dont do anything silly like yellow.

Thx for all your thoughts....

The main reason i wanna paint the oem TL-S wheels is cuz everytime i put them on my ride it doesn't blend well with the ride anymore (as u can imagine from the PICs) , at least not with the yellow i've got going on.

+ I like the aggressive look.

I prob. end up going with the BLACK with YELLOW stripe.

ALL OUT YELLOW !!! just cuz I wanna see what it looks like lol .. Plus they are only track wheels and you will only use them once in awhile.. lol and you could always repaint them again! If I were to get track wheels I wouldnt waist the money on powder coating.. just straight up paint them in my garage.. since they will see abuse..

Did you see the other post with the KBP TL with Orange track wheels? That actually looked nice!

Half yellow and half red. Call em Mustard and Ketchup

But seriously...I would do all yellow. Stand out from the crowd. They would look great with your yellow tint over the lights.

Stick with the black wheels with the red trim. They look great with the Black TL-even if it's for the track.

find a good painter to get the wheel close to the looks of a waffle with the right amount of shading and coloring.

to top it off. have them paint some syrup dripping.

the brake dust will create a powdered chocolate illusion

Now can't you imagine rolling on waffles.

Go with the black and red. Your car already has black and red rims and they look tight. Follow up with your track wheels. If you want a change though, go with the black and yellow. Definetly not straight yellow though.
