What 19" tires should I buy???

I am looking for a little help in selecting a brand of tire.

I purchased a set of 19" AXIS HIRO 8.5" W

I think I going to go with 245/35/19...

Any suggestions.... every shop I got to in town are trying to sell me Falken FK452's...

My only Criteria is that I do alot of driving and don't want to replace them every summer...

please help

I bought 235/35/19

GoodYear Eagle F1's I am getting them put on tomorrow, will let you know what happens

Please dont buy some cheap ass tires, get some goodyears, yokohamas, bridgestones, pirellis, michelins

Do not buy nitto, kuhmo, falken, or any other cheap-o tire

I wouldn't call Nitto/Kuhmo/Falken Cheap-o tires. Yes they are more affordable but they can outperform some of the tires you recommended. Sometimes you don't really need to spend a fortune to have really good tires.

Just goto www.1010tires.com and you will see what I am talking about.

I just picked up some Toyo Prox. T1R's 235-35-19 for my Inspyres and they're hot man-stick with Toyo, one of the highest treadware ratings.

Good luck.

I gotta agree with the otheres above...toyo's are nice w/ a high treadwear rating and their not noisy like other performance tires.

I just put 245/35/19 Nitto NT555 Extreme's on my car and I'm very impressed with the ride quality and performance. Of course, they are brand new and most tires impress when they are new.

If you want tread life, you are going to sacrifice performance. Go with the goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 - I have heard great things about them, even in snow surprisingly.

Personally, I want some of both so I went with a tire I had before, stock tires on 04+ S2000's and those are the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position. Decent treadwear rating, but the best in the category of Max Performance Summer on Tire Rack.

Check this out, it'll give you an idea of where tires rank in thier respective categories from real customers with all types of cars and driving styles...
