weird noise when go over speed bump?
hi all, i just had some tein s.tech put in 2 weeks ago. i realized that when i go over speed bump (approaching at an angle) or when i back up from my driveway just right over the curb, i can hear a little weird noise from one side of my rear suspension. is that normal? i can't hear it if i go cornering, drive thru pothole or uneven pavement.
if i go over speed bump while my car is vertical with the speed bump, i don't hear it much, only case is when i do the "S" curve while going over it or when one side at uneven height from the other side wheel.
any clue?

you have the A-Spec kit? S-tech drops the TL pretty low im assuming never looked into it myself. but my guess would be your tire is rubbing on A- Spec kit when the suspension compresses on all those uneven surfaces, becase the Aspec kit stick out a bit inside the rear wheel well. if you dont have the A-Spec then um.....

i dont' have A-spec kit on, the noise sounds like something is hitting softly. i talked to my friend who put it in for me and he said it maybe the spring top isn't align correct with the stock strut top plastic cover. i'll see if i have time to go over and have him take a look at it.
