If you get springs, plan on getting shocks because your stocks won't hold out long.
In end no matter which setup you roll with you are looking at 700-1000 for a decent reliable drop.

Just wanted to chime in and tell you to go straight for the coilovers.
You get what you pay for. I decided to go the cheaper route and get springs first, thinking I was just going to have them for a little while and then get coils. However, my shock blew almost instantly. Now I can't wait to get coilovers.
Obviously, everyone's case will be different as we all have different cars with different wear, but aftermarket springs are not meant for OEM shocks. And if you get aftermarket shocks to go along with the springs, you're approaching coilover price.
Again, it's your car and decision, but I just wanted to share my experience.

Lowering your car will not be cheap. Skip springs. Get coilovers and get camber kit on all four corners. Install everything while at it. Get a good unlimited alignment plan. This will save you alot of money in the long run because you will be visiting the alignment shop more than you think. Realign the car to specs. Otherwise get ready to lose your tires fast due to premature wear.
