I just found a steal on a set of Volk GTU's and I want to know if they'll fit my car with no issues. It's an 06, manual. The rims are 4 hours away so test fitment really isn't an option until I meet up with the guy. They are 18x8 +45 offset. Will these clear the front brakes and will I have any issues with rubbing? Also how flush will these sit with the fenders. Im wanting to lower it eventually as well about 1-2". New to the TL world so any help would be appreciated.

They wont clear if you have the Brembo calipers.
I have a set of Volk GTF 19x8.5 +35 up front, and they clear perfectly.

Well that sucks. Found a set a guy is selling for 600 bucks with brand new hankook tires. What size spacers would I need for them to clear?

I personally do not like running spacers.
Maybe you can contact VR wheels to get those wheels re-barreled to a difference size and offset.

i don't have brembos on my tl but this is a test fit of 18x7.5 +50 front and 18x8 +50 rear. ive seen guys run 18x8 +38 GTU and it clears brembos--so you might get away with a 5mm spacer..

Post pics of the GTU. if they're like mine you can only run 5mm space MAX--there are two versions of GTU--one with holes all around and one with only 5 lug holes. If you wanted to run a thicker spacer and they're GTU like mine you'd have to get extended studs because the spacers with built in studs wont clear the oem studs that will poke out and hit your rim. Other guys get away with it because their rims have little indents in the back of the rim to clear the oem studs.
