Visual difference between A-Spec springs and stock springs?

Hey,

I'm trying to sell my A-Spec springs after replacing them with Tein S Tech.

I was just wondering if there are any visual differences between the stock springs, and the A-Spec springs.

I don't want to scam a buyer, and for all I know, I could have been driving with A-Spec shocks and stock springs (I bought the suspension used).

How did your car look sitting on them? I'd be interested if they were aspec

How much are you looking to get? And you wouldn't happen to have the wheels for sale would you?

I'd say that's about 1" lower than base

If your talking about the actual springs and not ride height then no. I looked them over pretty carefully when I changed out my stock 08 base suspension out for the aspec. They looked the same. The aspec shock bodies do have different part numbers on them, but the springs looked the same.

changing shocks alone shouldnt change height. so, if the springs are same, using aspec shocks or base shocks should give the same height

So there is no visual difference, but there has to be a difference as some people recommend them with Koni shocks.

I guess the buyer just has to take my word that they're A-Spec.

They definitely look lower than stock. I'd be interested in the springs if you're willing to ship to the States.

Mine had a different color coding on the springs but as far as part numbers, I couldn't find one. The spring itself lowers the car, not the shock, and yours is definitely lower than stock.

I remember seeing a different colored paint swath on the springs itself.
other than that, you cannot tell if they are aspec unless comparing them to other set of springs.

the buyer will have to take your word for it.

I don't think I'll ever sell the wheels
I'll get a quote to ship the springs to the states.

Cool, they do have random paint marks on them, whereas if I remember correctly, the base suspension had grey paint marks on them.

I think I have different colours, but those paint marks look similar!

Thanks nfnsquared!
